Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how information is handled in Warikomi TODO (the “App”).

1. Information Handled by the App

The App handles the following information as necessary to provide its features:

The authorization status of Screen Time features (FamilyControls)
The ApplicationToken that identifies an app selected by the user
TODO titles, subtitles, selected apps, days and time ranges, recurrence settings, and completion status
Schedules and runtime state required to display, complete, skip, and automatically restore TODOs
Subscription purchase and entitlement status

ApplicationToken is managed by Apple. It does not allow the App to directly obtain the selected app's name or bundle ID.

2. Purposes of Use

This information is used to display and manage TODOs, determine the available features of the Free and Premium plans, provide purchases and restoration, and respond to bugs and user inquiries.

3. On-Device Storage and Sharing

TODO data, ApplicationToken, completion status, and related settings are stored on the device and in its App Groups shared container. To provide the App's features, this information is shared between the main app and the ShieldConfiguration, ShieldAction, and DeviceActivityMonitor extensions.

The App does not send TODO content or selected-app information to a server independently operated by us, and it does not provide cloud synchronization.

4. Purchases and Third-Party Services

The App uses Apple's StoreKit and the RevenueCat SDK for subscription purchases, purchase-status checks, and restoration. Purchase information, subscription status, and technical information about the App or device required for these processes may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat.

As of the App's initial submission, the App does not use advertising SDKs, the advertising identifier (IDFA), or App Tracking Transparency, and does not track users.

5. Screen Time Permission

The App uses Screen Time permission to display TODOs for selected apps. You can revoke this permission in iOS settings. If permission is revoked, core features such as the Shield display will no longer be available.

6. Retention and Deletion

You can delete individual TODOs in the App. When the App is removed from the device, data stored by the App on the device and in the App Groups shared container is normally deleted. Purchase history and subscriptions are managed through the user's Apple App Store account.

7. Children's Privacy

The App supports digital wellbeing and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

We endeavor to apply reasonable safeguards appropriate to the purposes for which information is used. Device security settings, including the passcode, Face ID, and Touch ID, also affect the protection of on-device data.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be updated in response to changes in laws, services, or App features. Updated terms take effect when published on the public page.

10. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
